In today's business climate, reducing and controlling costs is more important than ever. Strategies to increase sales revenue and streamline business processes are obvious areas to address, but many organizations fail to look at the cost of managing documents, which can present significant opportunities for savings - as much as 30% according to industry analysts.

Companies that embrace a Managed Print Services (MPS) approach and implement a comprehensive output management strategy can realize substantial benefits such as:

• Decreased document-related expenses
• Controlled expenditures
• Increased employee productivity
• Eliminated or significantly reduced waste
• Continuous improvement with document lifecycles
• Greener corporate citizen status

However, there is a lot of confusion in the marketplace about the true definition of Managed Print Services (MPS). To put it simply, MPS is the effective governance of your output environment. This involves the monitoring, controlling and improvement of your output technology as well as processes related to document management.

Many companies don't have the resources or the expertise to achieve the full potential of MPS, and look to form partnerships with firms like Ricoh that can deliver this service for them. By partnering with Ricoh, you gain access to the talent, resources and expertise to extend and enhance your current capabilities.
