About Roberta Witty, Research VP, Gartner
Roberta Witty is a research VP in Gartner Research, where she is part of the Compliance, Risk and Leadership group. Her primary area of focus is business continuity management and disaster recovery. Ms. Witty is the role specialty lead for the Gartner for IT Leaders (GITL) business continuity manager role. She is also a GITL Premier coach for Security and Risk.

Prior to joining Gartner, Ms. Witty managed the global technology risk management function for the corporate trust business of The Chase Manhattan Bank. In this role, she was responsible for awareness, advisory and compliance services regarding the business implementation of IT control policies, including information security, business continuity and Y2K business resumption planning. Before joining Chase, she was the information security officer for ING/New York, where her responsibilities included information security program development and implementation, security administration, and business continuity planning. Prior to ING, Ms. Witty held information security positions at the heritage organizations of both Chase and Chemical Bank.

About Troy McAlpin, CEO, xMatters
Troy brings a wealth of experience to his leadership role at xMatters. Prior to founding xMatters, formerly AlarmPoint Systems, he served as the President & COO and COO & CFO of two successful start-ups, where he oversaw all marketing, sales, development, M&A and financial aspects of the companies.

Previously, Troy was a Strategic Management Consultant with AT&T Solutions and Andersen, where he gained insight into enterprise priorities and structures. His expertise also includes process automation, strategic initiatives, and corporate strategy. Troy's domain experience includes IT Service Management, IT Strategy, and several vertical markets including high technology, banking and finance, consumer, and retail industries.

He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University at Sacramento.
