Mobility in the New Normal means being able to keep up with
employees, customers, suppliers in newer ways than ever before
imagined. The transition is driven by trends such as BYOD and mobile
convergence into everyday tasks. Like Social tools, this
consumer-driven wave of demand for mobile transformation is flowing
across every aspect of the desktop and digital business plans. This
segment covers what is driving this demand, and the new requirements
and key focus areas IT will want and need to plan for. By working
closely with business partners to scope areas of priority and fast ROI,
you can then assess back end readiness for new device and application
access, security, voice and data convergence. In many cases, legacy
modernization plans can leapfrog to mobility with the help of unified
communications and fixed mobile convergence technologies.
