About Nigel Rayner
Nigel Rayner is a research vice president in Gartner Research, where he covers financial management systems and how finance systems impact the role of the CFO and the finance function. As part of this research, Mr. Rayner covers financial application deployment strategies as part of an ERP strategy and the implementation of shared services of finance. Mr. Rayner also covers corporate performance management, which includes such areas as budgeting and planning, financial consolidation and activity-based costing. Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Rayner worked in the ERP/financial applications vendor community in a variety of roles, including product marketing, product management and business development. He also has extensive experience in accounting and financial management gained in the oil industry, where he was European Controller for a large multinational exploration and production company.
About John Hrudicka
John Hrudicka currently is responsible for finance, IT and Strategy Management for Elkay Manufacturing, a privately held, family owned company. His passion and emphasis is in driving a performance management culture that is focused on strategy management. He has spent his 21 year career spanning several industries, working for Motorola, 3Com and Baxter Healthcare in both finance and operations executive leadership roles. He has also had international expatriate assignments in both Hong Kong and Beijing, China. He is currently working with Dr. Robert Kaplan on a business case study featuring the early successes of their Time Driven ABC system implementation and aspects of the Elkay Management System.
About Jack Haedicke
Jack Haedicke is President of the Arena Consulting Group and a former CFO for a Fortune 500 company. He has held the positions of EVP/COO for OneSource, VP of Finance and ECR at Kraft Foods, Director of Activity Based Costing at The Coca-Cola Company, Controller of Manufacturing for the Hughes Aircraft Company, and Co-Chair of the grocery industry's initiative on Efficient Consumer Response (ECR), where he worked with firms such as Procter and Gamble, Dial, Spartan, Fleming and SuperValu in developing the concepts of Activity Based Costing, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Category Management and Continuous Replenishment (CRP), and Consolidation Warehousing. Haedicke currently serves as Chair of the Metrics and n-Tier Committees of VICS CPFR. His activity based costing systems are in use at Kraft, Wegman's, Coca-Cola, Wal-Mart, and Target, and he is currently building the customer profitability system for Lowe's.
