About Mark Nicolett, VP & Distinguished Analyst, Gartner
Mark Nicolett is a VP & Distinguished Analyst in Gartner Research. His research in the security, risk and compliance area focuses on security information and event management, database activity monitoring, vulnerability management, configuration audit, and IT governance risk and compliance management.
Mr. Nicolett's 17 years of experience in IT has been focused on IT operations, systems management, security management and storage management. As a principal technical consultant at Aetna, Mr. Nicolett was a major contributor to data center consolidation, disaster recovery, security, storage management and systems management projects. Industry experience has been focused on the design and implementation of information technology infrastructure for both large-scale and distributed systems.
About Jim Ebzery, Sr. VP and GM, Security, Management, and Operating Platforms, Novell
Jim Ebzery serves as the Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Security, Management and Operating Platforms business unit. He is responsible for product strategy, development and go to market for the newly formed business unit and will focus on delivering intelligent workload management solutions for the Data Center and Identity and Security markets. Previously, Mr. Ebzery was responsible for leading the Identity and Security Management business unit, one of the key growth areas at Novell.
Mr. Ebzery is an experienced technology executive with an extensive track record of delivering results and operational improvements. He is a proven team leader, successfully leading change in a variety of challenging environments and industries, from startups to global technology leaders.
Prior to joining Novell, he was President of the Viisage Division at L-1 Identity Solutions, a leading provider of advanced technology identity solutions. He also served as Senior Vice President of sales and marketing while at Viisage Technology. Mr. Ebzery served as Vice President of operations for Internet Capital Group, a venture capital firm, serving on multiple boards providing guidance and strategic direction to the management teams. His past experience also includes 17 years at IBM, where he held a variety of sales and executive positions. Mr. Ebzery earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College in Computer Science.
About Rajesh Gupta, VP, Systems Integration Practice, Infosys
Rajesh had joined Infosys in 2002 and is currently responsible for managing Systems Integration business for some verticals viz. Retail, Manufacturing, Energy, Utilities & Services and driving strategic client and partner relationships in North America. He is also global head of alliances and marketing for his unit. He has almost two decades of experience in business development, strategy formulation, planning, program / vendor management and IT operations. He is an active member of partner advisory boards of product alliance partners and steering committees with strategic clients.
Prior to Infosys, Rajesh as head of IT acted as a business change agent for a telecom service provider and was responsible for adoption of new technologies, creation of agile infrastructure for new value added service offerings and managing IT operations.
Rajesh has done his master in technology from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi & post graduation in management from Birla Institute.
