Complex Event Processing enables you to respond to fast-changing conditions, take advantage of opportunities, and pre-empt threats.

Complex Event Processing is a technique for extracting business value from event data -- what's happening inside your company, what's happening outside of your company, what's happening on the web, what your competitors are doing, what's coming in over the news feeds.

Complex Event Processing is about taking all your raw event data, summarizing it, and distilling it into a few insights that will help you make faster or better decisions.
