She is responsible for real-time infrastructure, business availability and business continuity/disaster recovery at Gartner. She focuses on best practices for IT operations management and architecture, end-to-end IT service management and 24x7 availability. Prior to her career in research, Ms. Scott spent 10 years in management consulting, managing medium- to large-scale business process engineering and business application implementations, including enterprise resource planning and financial systems. About Robert Soderbery Rob Soderbery oversees product management, product development and sales enablement for the Storage Foundation Product Group, within the Data Center Management Group at Symantec. He is responsible for the Veritas Storage Foundation and Veritas Command Central Storage product lines. Soderbery sits on the Global Leadership Council at Symantec which is the principle strategic decision making body for the company. Additionally he leads an emerging technologies team chartered with advanced storage management technology development. Mr. Soderbery joined Symantec through the company's merger with Veritas Software. At Veritas, Rob held multiple positions including Vice President of Product Management and Vice President of Strategic Alliances. Prior to his roles with Veritas he was an entrepreneur, with two startups to his credit. Rob holds a BSEE from Caltech and an MSEE from Stanford University. About Brian Cox Brian Cox is the Director of Software Planning and Marketing for Business Critical Systems. In this role he is responsible for product planning, product management and product marketing for the HP-UX 11i, OpenVMS & Windows operating systems and associated high availability, file system, volume manager & development tool software for Integrity servers. In his HP career, Brian has managed the industry’s best selling UNIX servers, the industry’s highest-performing Windows and Linux servers, the first blade server from any major vendor and multiple generations of x86, RISC and Itanium-based servers. His products have earned numerous awards over the years from publications such as InfoWorld, Network World, IT Week, Byte and Windows NT Magazine.
